Like every year, ISPAD is proud to launch its Active@ISPAD 5K Charity Run to promote awareness of the quest for a better world for children with diabetes!
When: Saturday, October 19
Time: 07:00 at the Meeting Place, Warm-up at 07:30, Start at 7:45
Meeting Place: in front of the Congress Centre (CCL), Praça das Indústrias 1
Running track: alongside the Tagus River (5 min walk from the meeting place)
Please be aware that we do not have changing rooms available on-site, but there will be a cloakroom available at the CCL to leave your personal belongings.
The event is free and open to the public of any age – delegates, patients and families! You can run, walk, jog or just watch and enjoy! Join us to have some healthy fun and show your support for the patients, families and scientists in their fight against diabetes in the young. Any monetary donation you wish to make is warmly welcomed and at your own discretion: all donations will go to AJDP (Associação de Jovens Diabéticos de Portugal)
